Privacy policy

waxii is built local-first. The short version: your data stays on your device, and we couldn't look at it even if we wanted to — there is no server for it to be sent to.

Health and ride data

waxii reads cycling workouts from Apple Health (HealthKit) solely to calculate distance and ride time for the bikes and components you track. This data is processed and stored on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party. waxii does not write data to Apple Health.

No accounts

waxii has no sign-up, no login, and no user accounts. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information through the app.

No analytics or tracking

The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting SDKs, and no third-party trackers. This website is a static page and likewise sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

iCloud sync

If you enable it, waxii syncs your maintenance data between your own devices using your personal iCloud account (Apple's private CloudKit database). That data is stored in your iCloud storage, under your Apple account's protections, and is not accessible to us.

Purchases

App Store purchases are processed by Apple. License keys purchased on this site are processed by a payment provider; we receive only what is needed to issue the key. Payment details never touch the app.

Changes

If waxii's data practices ever change, this policy will be updated here before the change ships.
